"GET LOST IN A GOOD BOOK"
Here we go. These three books changed my life and substantially impacted my career, choices, and lifestyle.
Rich Dad Poor Dad - Robert Kiyosaki
Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life - Hector Garcia & Francesc Miralles
Wings of Fire - A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
Now, let's get to know more about these three incredible books.
1. Rich Dad Poor Dad - Robert Kiyosaki
"Rich Dad Poor Dad" is one of the most popular Personal Finance books of all time. A must-read for beginners.
This book has unimaginably changed my thoughts. It just made me think outside the box.
It literally changed my path in many ways. My choice of reading books was drastically changed. I got interested in finance and entrepreneurship books so much that I lost interest in reading fictional books or romantic stories.

Robert Kiyosaki, the author of this book shares his story. He says that he had two fathers, one is his dad and the other is his friend's (Mike) dad.
His father (poor dad) was well educated and works as a Professor, but struggles financially. Whereas his friend's father, whom he mentions as rich dad is a school dropout but a successful businessman.
The story revolves between a rich dad and a poor dad and their sons. It shows how the lifestyle, thought process, and decision-making of rich dad, and poor dad differs.
This book talks about two fathers and how a child's upbringing can change his future. It talks about taking risks, working, and learning how money works.
It also talks about how these kids grew up and became successful. Their journey, their learnings, their hard work, and smart work, their decisions, identifying the opportunities, and their choices everything is explained clearly.
Often middle-class people get confused between assets and liabilities. They end up buying liabilities thinking of them to be assets. This book makes us understand the difference between an asset and a liability.
This book, being one of the most famous personal finance books, how do you expect it to be without talking about savings, investments, wants, needs, expenditure, and wealth accumulation?
Robert Kiyosaki also challenges the education system that miserably fails to teach the right mindset about money and financial independence.
The rich dad advises and how the kids made their path is explained in such simple language.
This book gives such an enlightening experience. It's not just a Personal finance book, it's also a self-help book.
My most important takeaways from this book are:
1. "Pay yourself first."
2. "Don't work for money. Let money work for you."
3. "Use your time wisely."
4. "Think Big."
5. "Choose friends wisely."
6. "Build passive incomes."
7. " Importance of Financial Literacy and Financial Independence."
8. "It's not how much money you make, it's how much money you keep."

2. Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life - Hector Garcia & Francesc Miralles
One of the most popular books and my personal favorite. I instantly fell in love with this country while reading the book. It literally made me feel like visiting Japan.
I became a huge fan of their lifestyle. Certainly, I would love to visit this country and learn more about its traditions and culture.

This book majorly talks about Japanese people, their lifestyle, food, their skills, and most importantly, what they do that makes them live long, happy lives.
It talks about the city of Okinawa, where people lived longer than in any other part of the country. How they live, eat, work and celebrate people and their happiness just impressed me. It brainwashed me literally. It talks about the purpose of our life and how we can find it.
After reading this book, one would certainly feel good and would fall in love with this book and the country. This book is truly special.
I so love this book that I'm unable to define its awesomeness.
Ikigai is a must-read book!!
Some of the key points of this book are:
1. Find your Ikigai.
2. Hara Jachi Bu: Eat only 80% of your stomach
3. Eat little portions with a variety of ingredients on smaller plates
4. Surround yourself with good friends
5. Keep moving your body
6. The secret to a long life is not to worry
7. Live in the Moment
8. Take it slow
It's an incredible book, and I want everyone to read this book and follow it.
BOOKS are our BEST FRIENDS

3. Wings of Fire - A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
In life, I hardly regret anything. But this is one time that happened when I was reading this book. Don't take it the other way, please. I regretted for having not read this book earlier.
This book came to me years back, but somehow I never got my hands on this. But believe me, from the moment I started reading to till date, it gave me the same feel, inspiration, and courage.
This book is one of a kind. I have huge respect and love for our beloved President, The Missile Man, and People's favorite president, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam sir.

Reading about his journey made me look at my career and path. This book gives you the freedom and inspiration to dream and fulfill your dreams. It gives us the strength to take the path that we want.
His journey isn't smooth, but that's how life challenges us right!!
This book is too close and personal for me. It gives us direction and prepares us to face any challenges.
I love sky gazing. Whenever I look at the sky, I feel magical. It draws my attention, and I sometimes get lost in my thoughts.
But after reading this book, when I look at the sky, I think of the rockets and this man.
Also, whenever I feel low, I think of this man by looking at the sky, and I start to feel better. This man has impacted my life significantly.
I'm sharing all this here because, in life there comes certain, times when we feel that no one understands us or that none can understand our feelings or thoughts and encourage us.

During those difficult and uncertain times, we wish we had someone who would encourage us and tell us to listen to our hearts and take the path that shows. This book exactly gives you that support. Glad it's published.
Gift this book to children especially, it will help them a lot in shaping their careers.
Final Thoughts:
Not everyone is blessed with this wonderful habit of reading. If you have it, I would say you are lucky. If you're not, I want you to experience the beauty of reading.
I don't want you guys to miss that amazing feel, the comfort, and most importantly, the greatest amount of value and knowledge it adds to your life.
I wish everyone read these books at least once in their life, especially those that aspire to become rich, successful and want to lead a happy, healthy, peaceful life.
